The Eotec 2000 ControlNet Communications Modules are versatile and reliable, offering both electrical and optical interface options for enhanced connectivity.

The 2C20 ControlNet Electrical Interface Module can be used on its own for electrical communications on the physical media layer of a ControlNet trunk line. Alternatively, it can be paired with any Eotec 2000 Optical Interface Module for extended distances and increased reliability between ControlNet devices. By utilizing fiber optic cables instead of copper coaxial cables, common issues such as ground loops, EMI/RFI noise, and lightning strikes are effectively eliminated.

Whether you need to build a ControlNet repeater, extend the length of a ControlNet network, or create a star or daisy-chain topology, the Eotec 2000 Communications Modules offer a scalable solution. Each module features a DIN-rail mount package that allows for up to five modules to be stacked together, powered by one or multiple power supply modules.
