The Schneider Electric LRD16 Thermal Overload Relay with Contactor LA1 DN22 / CAD32 is a robust protection and control assembly from the TeSys range, designed for safeguarding electric motors and circuits against overloads. Engineered with high precision and reliability, this modular device ensures optimal performance and long service life in demanding industrial environments. Its thermal overload relay (LRD16) offers adjustable current protection in the range of 9 to 13A, and comes integrated with a CAD32 contactor and LA1 DN22 auxiliary contact block for flexible control operations.

The relay is rated for use with systems up to 690V AC and supports impulse voltages up to 6kV, conforming to IEC/EN 60947, VDE 0660, BS EN60947, and IS 13947 standards. The contactor and auxiliary blocks offer control circuit ratings of A600/P600, with screw terminal torque specifications clearly defined for secure wiring. The overload relay is classified as Class 10-A, making it suitable for general-purpose motor applications. Certified with ATEX approval (Ineris 06ATEX0036X) for safe operation in potentially explosive atmospheres, the unit is built to support conductors ranging from AWG 6–14 (relay) and AWG 10–18 (auxiliary contact).
