The PR Electronics 2284 Isolation Amplifier is a precision signal-conditioning module engineered to deliver high-fidelity analog conversion with minimal noise. It isolates input, output, and power supply circuits to eliminate ground loops and suppress interference, making it ideal for accurate measurement and control in industrial and automation systems. Programmable input/output ranges and front-panel fine adjustment allow for flexible deployment and signal optimization.

Key Features:

  • Galvanic isolation between input, output, and supply for superior noise immunity

  • Bipolar input support: ±250 V DC or ±50 mA

  • Selectable outputs: 0–10 V (or 20 V), 0–20 mA, with polarity reversal option

  • Configurable ranges via internal DIP switches and front‑panel zero/span trimming

  • Fast response time: < 25 ms for 0–90% step change

Specifications:

  • Input Voltage: –250 … +250 V DC

  • Input Current: –50 … +50 mA

  • Output Options: 0–10 V (20 V optionally), 0–20 mA

  • Supply: 19.2–31.2 V DC, or universal AC/DC with isolation

  • Test Isolation Voltage: 3.75 kV AC between input/output/supply

  • Signal / Noise Ratio: ≥ 60 dB

  • Linearity Error: < 0.1 % of span

  • Operating Temperature: –20 °C to +60 °C

  • Mounting: 11-pole socket or DIN-rail adaptor option
